This is a specialized manuscript repository and research library operating within one of Armenia's most important spiritual and cultural institutions. Its origins date back to the medieval period, while the modern building was inaugurated in 2012. The institution preserves Armenian manuscripts, theological works, Armenological studies, rare books, and scholarly publications. Its collection contains approximately 70,000 items in more than 50 languages, including hundreds of rare early printed books. The facility includes reading rooms, exhibition halls, archival storage, and research spaces, while regularly hosting conferences, exhibitions, and academic programs dedicated to the preservation and study of Armenian cultural heritage.
