This is the main public library of Yerevan's Nor Nork administrative district and one of the district's key cultural and information centers. It was established in 1997 through the merger of several children's libraries and has been named after the Armenian poet Hamo Sahyan since 2021. The library holds more than 110,000 books, including fiction, children's literature, popular science, and reference materials. It features reading rooms, adult and children's service departments, collection preservation, bibliography, and cultural event departments. The library also operates three branches and regularly hosts literary events, exhibitions, art workshops, and creative writing studios.
