Library No. 17 named after Shushanik Kurghinyan, Shengavit District

This is a public library in the Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan that has developed over decades into an important cultural and educational center. It originally functioned as a children's library and later became a multifunctional institution with a reading room, lending department, reference-bibliographic, and children's sections. The library holds around 63,606 items, including fiction, educational, popular science, and reference materials. It organizes literary events, exhibitions, creative clubs, and educational programs in cooperation with schools and kindergartens, and is also known for its electronic catalog initiative and active community engagement.
